A distinguished research university and scientific beacon in teaching, learning, and community development, recognized regionally and internationally.
Mission
Providing distinguished education to fulfill its societal responsibilities in knowledge, scientific research, and community service locally and regionally, supporting IT and sustainable development while preserving core values.
Strategic Goals & Objectives
University of Zalingei operates within general state policies and Council of Higher Education guidelines to achieve the following goals:
- Acquiring, enhancing, and disseminating knowledge to serve the country and develop its resources intellectually and materially.
- Affirming and consolidating the Sudanese national identity through academic curricula approved and applied by the university.
- Conducting scientific and applied research aligned with societal needs to serve and advance the community.
- Innovating modern technologies and deploying them to serve society in cooperation with scientific institutions.
- Focusing on environmental protection and working on environmental awareness to preserve natural resources.
- Promoting public awareness across all levels of society.
- Engaging with societal issues and providing positive scientific solutions.
